Hi, I’m Kate and I’m so happy you’re here

Born and raised just outside of San Francisco, design and creativity have always been my north star. 

I started my career working for high end residential Interior Designers, learning everything I could about the business of creativity. In the years that followed, my curiosities led me down many different paths. From joining a creative start up, dabbling in vintage furniture at a high end showroom and most recently founding my own firm, Kate DeWitt Design. 

Though the endeavors may vary, I have noticed a common thread running through each; inspiration in the ordinary. My greatest creative sparks are often found in life’s most ordinary moments. Getting dressed in the morning, cooking a beautiful meal, buying flowers, hosting friends for dinner. 

Kate DeWitt Design is a celebration of the simplistic thread of beauty I find in the everyday. 

So whether I’m dreaming up a client’s space, hosting a creative workshop, or curating my next holiday party, I hope my little corner of the internet sparks a bit of everyday inspiration in you too.
